My place or yours?…

December 23, 2010

Did you know that Benefit also did fragrances?  Shamefully, I didn’t.  So when I was in their Covent Garden boutique at the weekend (more to come on this!) I was excited to see the to die for doll’s house perfume stand housing the cutest mini vintage cocktail shaker inspired fragrances.

Created by the nose of Chanel, (which can only be a good thing) there are six different scents to choose from and all priced at a bargainous £29.50 for 30ml.  I went for the ‘My place or yours Gina’ exclusive Crescent Row set which also includes a 60ml silky body lotion all for €43/£35.50.

Gina is a woody oriental eau de toilette with hints of pink pepper and wild raspberry.  If you’re a lover of sweet perfumes like Thierry Mugler Angel or Vera Wang Princess then this won’t disappoint.  Benefit say, “a seductively provocative scent with a ‘flaunt it if you’ve got it’ attitude” and I’m inclined to agree.

Haven’t quite finished your Christmas shopping this year?  Looking for a little something special for your friend/sister/aunty/mother/girlfriend?  Available at Boots, Arnotts, House of Fraser, BT2, Clerys, Brown Thomas and Debenhams there’s sure to be somewhere near you can nip out and pick one up (if there’s any left that is) even in the dreaded snow, plus the packaging is so cute you won’t even need to wrap it!
